About Seafood Cornwall Training

More about our Fishing industry training school

Seafood Cornwall Training Ltd is based in Newlyn at the heart of Cornwall’s Fishing Industry.

The not-for-profit, fishing industry training school opened its doors to fishermen and onshore workers from across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in January 2009. Since then, we have expanded and become approved by the MCA and the RYA, which has allowed us to to expand our range of courses.

By understanding how the industry works, we make every effort to make our training accessible and convenient to all. That might be by holding courses in home ports, offering support with form filling or helping with careers advice.

Seafood Cornwall Training works closely with other organisations to provide you with the skills and resources necessary to reach your potential.

Do get in touch if we can help at all with your training needs.
