Human Element Leadership & Management (Operational Level)
Course Overview
The course covers the requirements for junior watchkeeping officers to work alongside their superiors and manage their teams. Over the course of three days, students will use a mixture of practical exercises group role play and discussion, to learn the skills needed to effectively manager and lead crew on board. The objective is to learn the skills needed to effectively manage and lead crew and teams on board the ship at their operational level.
SCT Training is delivered by Maritime leaders who share their knowledge and experience for getting the most from their team or crew and from themselves.

Examination Type
Competence will be recorded by observation of group activities and individual planning as well as written assessments on the knowledge and skills developed in training.

There are no pre-requisites for this course. You should arrive prepared to engage in learning. Please let us know before the course is you are attending as a shore based worker.
Certificates will be sent directly to candidates on successful completion of the exam.
